
Darlington County School District (DCSD) is now offering free flu and COVID testing to school district students, employees, and their households.
Both tests are available at the DCSD Administrative Building at 120 E. Smith Avenue in Darlington and at the Darlington County Virtual Academy building (formerly the West Hartsville Elementary School) at 214 Clyde Road in Hartsville. The testing centers are open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
This testing program is made possible through a grant from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) and will be administered through Mako Medical. Test results will be available on the same day.
Before getting tested, individuals should register at
https://covidfreeschoolssc.com/signup. When registering, please select the school or office you or your child attends. If you have children at several schools, please just choose one.
Individuals MUST select at least one option at the bottom of the registration page to receive their test results:
For test results via email: Enter a working email, then select “The patient consents to receive email notifications about their test results” at the bottom of the page.
For test results via text: Enter a working cellphone number, then select “The patient consents to receive phone SMS notifications about their test results” at the bottom of the page
