Darlington County Board of Education recognizes students with exceptional scores on SC READY and SCPASS

DARLINGTON, S.C. – Fifteen students earned recognition recently during the Darlington County Board of Education’s January meeting. The students either recorded perfect scale scores on the SC READY test or the maximum raw score on the SCPASS test in 2018.
The students and their families packaged the board meeting room Jan. 14 where they were recognized by Superintendent Dr. Tim Newman, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Carlita Davis, Board Chairman Warren Jeffords, and their principals. The students took photos and received trophies honoring their brilliant academic achievements.
