Darlington County Board of Education forgives last of the 2018-2019 inclement weather missed days
DARLINGTON, SC – The Darlington County Board of Education (DCSD) forgave the last of the inclement weather days at their regular April board meeting.
Over the course of the 2018-19 school year, DCSD students missed seven school days due to Hurricane Michael and Hurricane Florence. The board had already designated six make-up days but left the seventh day unassigned until now. On Monday, the board forgave the seventh missed day. The last day for students will be June 7, 2019.
Employees were scheduled to work on Saturday, June 8 to make up missed professional development days. The board also decided to forgive that day as well.
