DARLINGTON, S.C. – Darlington High School student-athlete Nathaniel Joe signed a letter of intent on Wednesday to play football for the North Greenville University Crusaders next year.
Joe, a 6-foot-2 defensive back for the Falcons, celebrated his commitment in front of his teammates, coaches and family. Joe intends to play cornerback for the Crusaders.
Darlington High Principal Cortney Gehrke said Joe’s work ethic and great character will serve him well after graduation.
“Not only is Nathaniel a gifted athlete, but he is also an honor roll student,” Gehrke said. “His quiet determination is going to help him be successful in college and in life. We are very proud of him.”
