 Rare in adults and older children, but can be as high as 100 - 102 degrees F in younger children and infants.

 Present, often high, usually 100-degrees F and higher. Lasts 3-4 days.


 Headache


 Rare.

Very common with a sudden onset. Can be severe. 


 Body Aches


 Slight.
 
Very common and often severe.


 Chills, Sweats



 Uncommon.

 Fairly common.


 Coughing
 
Hacking, productive cough.
 
Dry, unproductive cough that can be severe.

 Very common.

​ Stuffy nose


 Very common.

​ Sore Throat


 Common.

 Common.

​ Chest Discomfort

 
Mild to moderate.

 Often severe.



​ Tiredness


 Mild.
 

Sudden onset. Moderate to severe.



 Symptoms

 
Develop gradually.



 Develop suddenly. Can appear withing 3-6 hours.

 Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea.
