Summer Meal ProgramDARLINGTON, S.C. – Darlington County School District will again provide free breakfast and lunch for children this summer at nine locations across the county through the United States Department of Agriculture’s Seamless Summer Meals Program.

The program begins June 11. Six of the sites will be open Monday through Thursday, while three will operate Monday through Friday.

Meals will be provided at no cost to anyone 18 years of age or younger. No registration is required.

The program will serve a variety of breakfasts and lunches that meet nutritional standards set by the USDA and the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs. 



At each location, breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.



Summer meals are scheduled to be served at the following six locations, Monday through Thursday:

• Darlington High School
• Hartsville High School
• Hartsville Middle School
• Rosenwald Elementary/Middle School
• Spaulding Middle School
• Washington Street Elementary School



Meals will be served at the following three locations, Monday through Friday:

• Brunson-Dargan Elementary School
• Southside Early Childhood Center
• Thornwell School for the Arts
