DARLINGTON, S.C. – Left-handed pitcher Anthony Hopkins, a student-athlete at Darlington High School, signed a letter of intent Tuesday to play baseball next year for North Greenville University.
Hopkins inked the commitment at school, surrounded by his family and coaches.
He finished the 2018 season, his junior year, with a 0.63 ERA through 47 2/3 innings pitched with 73 strikeouts.
Hopkins joins a highly successful program at North Greenville. The Crusaders finished the 2018 campaign with a 46-10 overall record.
