The 2024-25 Innovative Magnet Programs Application Window for the 2025-26 school year is open from January 7, 2025, until at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025.

After tremendous success in it inaugural event, DCSD will once again host a districtwide hiring fair on Saturday, February 1, at Mayo High School for Math Science and Technology.

The program recognizes one teacher from each school to honor excellence in education.

Classes at the Darlington County Institute of Technology (DCIT) continually work to incorporate real-world job experiences into lessons in an effort to prepare students for a career after high school.

Tracee Auman, Hartsville High School’s dance teacher and the Darlington County School District’s current District Teacher of the Year, recently earned yet another prestigious honor.

Charles Govan, a member of the Darlington County School District Board of Education, has been installed as president of the South Carolina School Boards Association (SCSBA) Board of Trustees.

The Darlington County Board of Education approved the name "Black Creek Elementary School" for the new elementary school currently under construction in the Darlington area.
