Notice of Intent to Destroy Exceptional Education Records

On July 17, 2025, Darlington County School District will begin the process of destroying records pertaining to disabilities/psychological evaluations/exceptional education for students who were born between January 1, 1990 and January 1, 2000.

These individuals have the right to a copy of their exceptional education records upon request.

To obtain a copy of these records, please contact Tiffany Moses in the Office of Exceptional Education at 843-398-2252 prior to July 16, 2025. A photo ID matching the name on the file and a signed release for the records will be required. 

Please note that permanent school records are not included in this process.
